On Thursday, June 20 from 6:30-9pm at 906 H St NE. G.L.A.M. (Giving Labels a Meaning), is an organization that raises money for local child advocacy groups through fashion. This summer’s fashion event will benefit Safe Shores DC , a nonprofit that works with children that have been exposed to abuse. All profits from the event will go directly to Safe Shores DC to support their incredible work.
The Event will feature pop up shops from local designers & boutiques such as Carnelian Boutique, Bishop Boutique, The Andi Brand, Turquoise, Enise, Drabo Gallery, and Runway on Wheels, a fashion presentation (modeled by local bloggers), music by DJ MIM, an open bar, tasty treats and a raffle with items from Fornash, Rachel Mulherin, Blair Ritchey, Hobo, The Andi Brand and Love Cortnie.
To purchase your tickets go here ($10 for regular admission, $30 for VIP). The VIP swag bags are almost sold out and are amazing with items from Urban Chic, Lou Lou, Worn Magazine, and Fornash (just to name a few).
